HOW DOES PACCONP DEFINE ITSELF?

Unity & Peace Agent

With its strong emphasis on tolerance, respect for diversity, as well as the development of a friendly and peaceful relationship, PACONP continues to be effective in promoting more stable and inclusive communities between African and African American. PACCONP mobilizes, unifies and engages the majority of the 20000 immigrant African and Caribbean communities in Philadelphia, for local and international initiatives.

Healthy Life Style Agent

PACCONP focuses on healthy life style and preventive measures. PACCONP is also known as Philadelphia African Health Cup, every tournament is an opportunity to increase health awareness among its constituents. We collaborate with medical institutions including PENN Medicine, to help promote the importance of a good healthy lifestyle through good diets and sports.

Education Change Agent

Through TIMBA(click here), our Stem afterschool program that incorporates Technology and Inquiry into a Multicultural Bilingual Academic setting, PACCONP stands as an advocacy tool to address and overcome the challenge of integration, including academic difficulties, language acquisition, social isolation, negative peer pressure, grief, discrimination, and cultural misunderstanding. PACCONP’s commitment to the well being of the community continues to give encouraging results especially in schools where the majority of our constituents go.
